The Classic Christmas Portraits are back by popular demand for the second annual round of family holiday photos! The husband & wife duo Brandon Hart Photography & Faye Smith Agency have partnered up again to deliver the most epic family portrait for the 2021 holidays! They will be donating again this year to Backpack Buddies, a charity that puts food on the table for starving children in British Columbia.
It all began with a genius pandemic idea.
If you missed it last year, The Christmas Portrait series idea sparked during the 2020 lockdown as a way to offer families something for the holidays and to give back to the community. Although Faye and Brandon began late in the season, the response was incredible, booking up fast, and raising almost $700 for Backpack Buddies! Faye and Brandon quickly realized that this will become an annual tradition not only as their offering but for the families involved. So here we are back again with a new set up ready for the holiday fun.
The Christmas Family Portrait Classic.
These Christmas portraits are different than what you are used to. Brandon shoots these in his own classic editorial style redefining the traditional family photo by capturing genuine moments that are unique to each family dynamic. Whether it is with your kids or fur babies, each photo shoot will reflect exactly who you are as a family. This means no more cheesy family photos. These portraits are classics you will feel proud to hang up on your wall or print into fun holiday cards. This year, there is a new set up with a different backdrop.

Price breakdown:
Photoshoot with Brandon Hart Photography $250, which includes 2 fully retouched images (these are not the quick Lightroom edits you are used to). Photoshoots are up to 1 hour long.
$25 of Brandon’s earnings will be donated to Backpack Buddies.
Additional images are $50 each.
Women’s hair and makeup with Faye Smith Agency (optional) $125.
$15 of Faye’s earnings will be donated to Backpack Buddies.

Backpack Buddies
Faye and Brandon will be donating again this year to Backpack Buddies, a charity that puts food on the table for starving children in British Columbia. After working with Emily-anne King, one of the co-founders of Backpack Buddies, and her family last year, they were shocked to hear about the number of impoverished children in British Columbia.
1 in 5 children in BC go without food over the weekend. 1 in 2 children in northern Vancouver Island go without food over the weekend. This is devastating. Backpack Buddies fills the weekend gap, and for $15 per child, they provide 9 meals with fresh fruit and snacks. They provide meals for almost 3000 BC children per week.
Although they were late in the game, Faye and Brandon managed to raise almost $700 for Backpack Buddies in 2020! Thank you to everyone who joined in on the fun and helped supply food to the children in BC.
