Alexa is a Senior Hair & Makeup Stylist based in Victoria, BC, with a passion for creating polished, authentic beauty looks that make every client feel like the best version of themselves. A graduate of Blanche Macdonald’s Freelance Makeup Artistry Program, Alexa has continued to refine her artistry through advanced education, including a 2024 Masterclass with Kellsie Bain. Since 2023, she has worked professionally with Save the Date Beauty, building a reputation for thoughtful client care, precise execution, and a calm, organized approach—even within fast-paced wedding and event environments.

With expertise spanning both hair and makeup, Alexa specializes in working with natural hair textures, including frizzy, wavy, curly, and coily hair, as well as blowouts, clip-in extension installation, mature skin makeup, and airbrush makeup. Her background as an educator for the past decade has given her exceptional communication, active listening, time-management, and leadership skills, all of which translate seamlessly into her beauty work. She is particularly skilled at listening closely to a client’s vision and adapting her techniques to enhance their individual features, natural texture, and personal style.
