Makayla is a Senior Makeup Artist and Hairstylist. She moved across Canada, from Nova Scotia to B.C., to pursue her career as a Makeup Artist. She graduated with her Diploma in Beauty and SFX Makeup from John Casablancas Institute in Vancouver in 2019.
Makayla focuses her time in bridal, special events and photoshoots. She loves creating soft glam looks that enhance your natural beauty, and effortless hairstyles. However, you can find her working for Film & TV, and creating editorial and Special FX looks in her free time.
She was published in En Vie Fashion Magazine and worked as MUA for Vancouver Fashion Week.
Makayla worked in cosmetic retail for the Charlotte Tilbury team to start out her career, and moved on to work as Key HMUA at Vancouver News Station The Market Herald.
Makayla also has a background in skincare, and believes that your skincare is what creates the perfect canvas for your makeup application.
