Sana is a talented and versatile Junior Hair and Makeup Artist with a specialty in both South Asian and Western bridal beauty. A graduate of Blanche Macdonald’s prestigious freelance makeup artistry program, she brings a deep understanding of diverse skin tones, facial features, and cultural traditions to every appointment. Her skill set includes expert-level airbrush makeup, dupatta pinning, tikka setting, and makeup application tailored for tan/dark complexions, mature skin, and textured or troubled skin types.

Sana is known for her inclusive, adaptive artistry and seamless blending techniques. Her work has earned her opportunities to collaborate with high-profile clients such as Kerry-Lynne Findlay, former MP for White Rock–South Surrey, and to work with a Toronto-based makeup agency. While most of her clientele are bridal and non-bridal freelance clients, her attention to detail and personalized approach consistently set her apart.

What truly distinguishes Sana is her belief in enhancing her clients’ natural beauty. She takes great pride in reminding each person that they are beautiful just as they are, encouraging them to embrace their uniqueness. She emphasizes the importance of skin care as the foundation of any great look, often advising clients to prep their skin thoroughly with exfoliation and rich moisturization prior to their appointments.

Sana’s favorite part of the job is the transformative journey, bringing a vision to life and seeing the confidence it inspires in her clients. Whether working with a bride on her special day or creating an editorial look, she thrives on creativity and connection. Her go-to product? Smashbox’s Skin Adaptor Foundation—her secret weapon for flawless, glowing results.
