Faye Smith Agency’s Junior Makeup and Hair Artists are newly graduated artists who FSA talent scouts see something special in. Faye Smith Agency and Academy mentors new makeup and hair artists who they believe have a unique talent, and tons of potential to blossom as young artists in the industry.
The fee to work with a Junior artists is much lower than that of a senior or master stylist as it reflects their fresh and new status in the industry. When working with a Junior artist you can expect that they will need more time to complete the finished look, and they will need their customer’s guidance on adjustments they would like made. If you are looking for a simple makeup and/or hair look and are working with a small budget then booking wit a Junior artist is right for you.Â
Graduating from makeup school is an exciting time! It is a time to hunt for opportunity, develop your skills, and gain experience from the veterans in the industry. Please note that our Junior artists have graduated from school within the past two years and tend to need more time to finish your makeup and look than experienced artists. They can achieve simple looks only.

Our Junior artists offer a wide range of non-bridal makeup and hair services to suit any style or preference. This can be for Bridesmaids, Mother-of-the-Bride, Wedding Guests, a different special occasion, or a photoshoot. Book our Junior Artists for any occassion!
Sometimes we want to involve the little ones but we don’t want to spend the big bucks on it. Choosing a Junior Artist for your flower girls, or for your daughter for a photoshoot, is a great option!

To book a Junior Artist we require you to sign a contract to waive Faye Smith Agency of responsibility of your satisfaction with this finished look. While our junior artists are scouted due to their natural talent, they do not yet have the experience that our senior and master stylists do, and the low fee paid for the services reflects that.
To help you with your Bride-to-be Beauty Preparation we offer a wide range of skin treatments, hair treatments, hair cut and colour services, eyelash enhancements, eyebrow grooming, teeth whitening, and hair removal services. Our salon, Primp & Proper, is located in Gastown at 73 East Cordova Street.Â
