Faye Smith Beauty is excited to partner with Lakesider Brewing Co. to bring a brand-new family experience to the Okanagan community: Pints & Ponies Kelowna — a playful and memorable dads-and-daughters hairstyling class designed to create connection, confidence, and unforgettable memories.
Hosted in the downstairs event space at Lakesider Brewery in West Kelowna, this event is perfect for dads, stepdads, grandpas, uncles, or any father figure wanting to learn a few simple hairstyling basics while having fun with their little one.
Whether your child loves ponytails, braids, or space buns, this event is all about making memories together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
What Is Included in the Ticket?
Each ticket includes:
- One pint for dad (or non-alcoholic beverage)
- One kids meal
- A live hairstyling lesson with award-winning hairstylist Faye Smith
- A small take-home gift
- Access to the family photo wall and mingling session
Tickets are $55 + GST and capacity is limited to just 24 guests to keep the event intimate and interactive. Tickets are already selling fast!
What Will Dads Learn?
During the hairstyling portion of the event, dads will learn:
- How to get little ones to sit still during hairstyling
- How to create a classic ponytail
- Easy and fun space buns
- Basic hair sectioning and brushing tips
- Confidence-building hairstyling techniques for everyday life
No hairstyling experience is needed. This event is beginner-friendly and designed to be lighthearted, encouraging, and fun.

Faye Smith is an award-winning hairstylist, makeup artist, educator, and founder of Primp & Proper and Faye Smith Agency. With over 18 years in the beauty industry, Faye specializes in bridal hairstyling, education, beauty events, and creating confidence through beauty services and hands-on experiences.
After recently relocating to West Kelowna, Faye is excited to create more family-friendly beauty and community events throughout Kelowna and the Okanagan.
