Katie is an Emmy and Canadian Screen Awards Nominated Makeup and Hair artist based in Toronto. She has 14+ years of experience working in the beauty Industry and has worked in a number of different sectors including; Bridal and Beauty, Commercial, Film and TV, Cosmetic Retail, Spa and Wellness, and Nail Artistry. Katie has broad versatility and skillsets. She is experienced and well-practised in makeup and hairstyling for clients of all skin tones and hair types including textured hair. Katie keeps a wide range of products and tools in her kit to cater to any individual’s needs and preferences.
Katie’s education includes a Comprehensive Makeup Artist Diploma at George Brown College, a Medical Esthetician Diploma at Edith Serei College of Medical Esthetics, a Master Acrylic Certificate at Young Nails, and Indigenous Canada at University of Alberta.
Katie’s favourite part about her job is meeting new people, and listening and learning about their makeup and hair ideas in order to create a customized look. It brings great joy to her to see the smiles on her client’s faces when she hands them a mirror once their makeup and hair styling is completed.
